How do I search my trip?
Using InkaExpress is easy, and best of all, free! All you have to do is select your departure and arrival locations, desired dates for the trip and select one or multiple passengers and InkaExpress instantly aggregates schedules, routes and operators to get you exactly where you need to go. InkaExpress is a true online point of sale. You can select a city, type of service or even a point of interest and we find all of the nearby available services. Have a place of interest to visit or a favorite Inca site, just type it in and leave the rest to us.

Does InkaExpress.com directly sell bus tickets?
Yes, InkaExpress does directly sell tickets. Beware of imposters that use our name to sell our bus tickets, like www.inkaexpressbus.com (we have no relationship with this company). If you ever have questions about your ticket or need to change the ticket InkaExpress will service you directly. This also means that when you buy a ticket it is covered by the terms of InkaExpress, unlike the imposters that offer nothing but a nightmare.
How do I buy bus tickets I found on InkaExpress.com?
When you select the tickets you want to buy on InkaExpress, you are instantly directed to the ticket confirmation and purchasing page. This way, you can buy all your tickets in just a few easy steps and print them at home! For your convenience you can pick up your tickets at our 2 offices in Cusco or have them deliver to your hotel for a small fee.
I haven’t received my tickets. Where did they go? What do I do?
Your tickets are purchased directly from InkaExpress bus and are emailed to you directly by InkaExpress bus that you reserved with. Please allow at least 24 hours from your reservation to receive the tickets. Has it been more than 24 hours? Check your spam folder as they can sometimes get filtered there. Still nothing? Sometimes the email provider filters out some emails beyond the spam folder. If this happened, please keep reading below.
Do you have the confirmation number that you received after successfully completing your reservation? If yes, just dial the U.S. toll free number of InkaExpress bus or email us to reservations@InkaExpress.com. InkaExpress bus will resend you your ticket right away.
Don’t have your confirmation number? Don’t worry, we can help you locate it. Please provide us with as much information about the booking, but at the very least departure, arrival, date and time of travel, date and time of booking (at least approximate), total cost and number of tickets. We will do our best to track down your confirmation and get you on your way.
I would like to pay for my tickets with an international credit card, cash, Bitcoins, IOUs… will it be accepted?
The accepted payment method is PayPal, InkaExpress does accept international credit cards. For folks looking to pay with any other form of payment, you are out of luck. To reserve tickets found on InkaExpress you will need a debit or credit card. You can pay for some tickets at the bus stop, but prices are usually significantly higher and you run the risk of a full bus (most of the time).
Can I reserve a ticket for someone else?
You can reserve a ticket for another person without a problem. Enter their information in the passenger fields and your information in the billing fields.
I had trouble searching, checking out or purchasing the tickets. Am I not compatible with InkaExpress?
It’s not you, really. You are awesome! But it might be your browser. InkaExpress uses a lot of cutting edge technologies to make your travel booking easier. We highly recommend using Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer 9 or higher. If you are using an older browser we highly recommend you upgrade for free! Trust us, it will significantly improve your internet experience. You can download from their official sources below.
If you experience other hiccups that you don’t think are browser related please contact us and report them. We are constantly improving our service and would love to know how we can make it. If you report an issue please let us know as many details as possible including the browser and version, operation system, if on mobile the mobile device you are using and a link to the part of the site you had an issue. What if I want to cancel my trip?
If you need to change or cancel your trip, you will need to contact InkaExpress bus 30 days prior to your trip.
My reservation failed, but I got charged for the tickets, what gives?
Sorry to hear that you had trouble completing the reservation. The most common reason for the reservation to fail is when the credit card information such as billing name, address, phone number or expiration and CSV numbers associated with the credit card don’t match what is on file with the credit card company. It’s no reason for concern, just double check all of your information before submitting your reservation again. If you see a charge on your account from InkaExpress bus, but the reservation did not complete, don’t be concerned. Sometimes our payment processors will place a hold on your account for the amount of the ticket while they tried to complete the failed reservation. Though it might appear as a charge on your bank account it is a hold, which means the money has not left the account and the bank will remove the whole after a short period. If you don’t see the hold removed from your bank account within 2 weeks you should InkaExpress immediately.
My pooch Snugles and cat Mittens are really adorable. Can I bring them on the bus?
Most bus companies DON’T allow pets on the bus. Sorry =( The one exception is of course if your pet animal is a service animal.
I’ve got more bags than a Louis Vuitton store, but how many can I bring on the bus?
InkaExpress common policy in the industry is one piece of luggage that you can check and store under the bus and one piece of luggage that you can take with you on the bus. Of course InkaExpress might allow more or less baggage and you should double check.
